Jann Blazona Interior Design specializes in farmhouse-style interiors that are as rich with character as they are light of spirit. At the core of the firm’s design philosophy is the belief that deep histories can cohabitate with fresh modern twists and progressive green design.
After studying at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Jann Blazona set out to create
and design functional interior spaces filled with warmth and comfort for design-savvy clients.
And over the next twenty years, she undertook a wide range of design projects in Lake Tahoe,
Santa Barbara, Montecito, The Napa Valley, The Sonoma Valley and an ambassador’s
residence in Vienna, Austria.
But after moving to Sonoma in the heart of wine country in 2004, she had the opportunity to
work on two projects that tied in beautifully with her specific design philosophy
and her unique set of skills.
The projects allowed her to follow her passion for farmhouse architecture and interiors, further
her studies in farmhouse design and country style, and develop an approach that’s eco-minded.
Services available to Jann Blazona Interior Design clients include developing design concepts,
space planning, kitchen and bath design, color studies, lighting schemes, finish selections,
furniture and fabric selections, construction specifications (to encompass everything from custom
millwork design to built-in furniture), and project supervision.
Jann Blazona projects have been featured in many publications including Metropolitan Home,
Builder, Sonoma Magazine, USA Today, LA Times and The Sacramento Bee.
